Tignar is being built by two co-founders who came at the same problem from opposite ends. One spent a career in technology and operations, scaling complex operational systems and leading AI-enabled workflow change across governance, quality, risk, data and large distributed teams. The other is an established construction and real estate leader, with a track record delivering residential and commercial projects and a national team working across the full project lifecycle.
That is most of the reason this exists. Construction software tends to get built either by people who understand software and have to guess at the work, or by people who understand the work and have to guess at the software. Between the two of us there is no guessing on either side, and there are live projects, real documents and real users to test against from the first week.
So it is being built close to the work rather than at a distance from it, which mostly means putting early versions in front of people who will tell us plainly when we have got it wrong.
